Audacity - play (with) your music!!

Do you have at home a pile of vinyls? You know, old music you want to keep, for it's close to your heart and is an important part of your life. Or it's close to an important part of your life? whatever...

Well then this is a software you'll love. For one - hear the magic word:
it's free; and easy to handle. But let's hear editor's word: "this powerful, free, Open Source tool can record sound and music as well as edit it, so you'll want to start off recording your audio". Yeah I know I was talking vinyls. It's what I used Audacity for. Digitised some of it; and some for a friend. And as I'm not a technical person, records got pauses, noise etc. Which I got rid of using Audacity.

If you want to make your own music, it can  add several dozen sound effects and has a powerful mixer; you can use fades and other effects, and mix an unlimited number of tracks. You'll even be able to create your own "soundscapes" by generating sounds and mixing them. (courtesy of PCWorld Magazine)

Enjoy!!
