snowmen feed icons - first attempt

Talking about collectibles - there is a subspecies of collector which just LOVES

icons.
You can find lots of on the big 3W if you really need it. Here's a good example on deviantART. Or you might just Google it.

The problem with icons is some of them come in PNG format and you might want to pimp your desktop with them. Here comes this lovely tool (magic word added - Free) : ConvertICO. It does convert - online, and I'll repeat for you - free - any PNG to ICO. Or ICO to PNG by the way. Vista compatible icons, which is very thoughtful of the author and some Vista wallpapers to download.

If you want to make your own personal thing, you may just check this post on Blog.Spoon Graphics (great posts, just added to my bloglines list). The title is 40 Tutorials for Creating Highly Detailed Icon Designs. I just had some very pleasant hours whit some of the tutorials here and photoshop. I'm not being original, I know, with those snowmen, anyway, here's a download link for the PNGs in 512, 256 and 128 px size. The convert tool is at a click step if you want to use one of them. Winter is close now...Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
